I just found this fic, and it's amazing. The writing is beautiful, with incredibly evocative language and a compelling story. I read compulsively last night, very late, unable to stop once I had read a few paragraphs. It's not easy to find a story or theme that's not overdone in this fandom, but you have staked out your very own territory and made it completely yours.
